Monotone palettes are good for night/scary scenes.
I will write about what's going on later. It's part of a story.
I'm not happy with the stairs. The perspective is completely wrong and I cheated a lot, but if it works for you, then it's not so bad.
Downwards shots with deep backgrounds is an "easy" way to convey size, but the easy part is thinking of it. Drawing it is hard without a good reference.
